YAMMY Boots Cleaning Guide.

  1. Preparation: Remove any excess dirt or debris from the boots by gently brushing them off with microfibre towel or soft brush.
  2. Spot Test: Before washing the entire boot, spot test a small, inconspicuous area with mild detergent to ensure it doesn't cause any damage or discoloration.
  3. Spot cleaning: Use only mild liquid detergent or spot treatment for any stain on the fabric. The lower part of the boots are made of TPU, so a warm, and damp microfibre towel can clean it easily.
  4. Preparation: Fill a bowl or a container with warm water and add a small amount of mild detergent and dilute them well before applying to a soft shoe brush/ toothbrush. Take off laces and insoles, they can be handwashed or scrubbed separately.
  5. Clean: Dip a soft brush or cloth into the soapy water and gently scrub the mesh and TPU.
  6. Rinse: Once cleaned, rinse the boots thoroughly with lukewarm running water or damp microfibre towel to remove any soap residue. Do not submerge the boots into a bucket of water. Squeeze excess water gently without twisting the boots.
  7. Air Dry: Allow the boots to air dry naturally under shade away from direct sunlight or heat sources. It is best to do this in a warm day not cloudy or in winter as you want the boots to dry as soon as possible. Stuff them with paper towels to help maintain their shape during drying. Spread the tongue of the boots out so there’s better surface for drying. Please lay the shoes flat not vertical on one side.
  8. Optional: If desired, you can apply a fabric protector spray specifically designed for mesh materials to help repel dirt and stains in the future. Spray deodoriser for shoes/ boots can also be used, make sure you do it outdoor or in well ventilated area.
  9. Recommended after workout care: Make sure to always dry your boots outdoor after each of your boxing sessions. Wet boots are home for bacteria and terrible for your foot health.

Remember, avoid putting your boots in the washing machine, using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the materials of the boots. Do not keep them wet for a long time as it can damage the glue and cause peeling of the TPU. Please always wear socks when training to reduce sweat on the boots.
